I had the best celebration ever! =)

Was feeling a little depressed a week before my birthday.

Firstly, age la.

Secondly, I thought my friends forgot about it =((((

But scratch that, my girls remembers and not forgetting my colleagues! *happy smile*

On 17th February, a day before, had a lunch celebration with the managers and modern trade department.

3 hours lunch break! only applies in my company haha.

So 6th February marks the end of 2012 Chinese New Year.

Chor Yat/First day of CNY :)
This year the family are going casual.
All of us are in polos and jeans!
Last year I was in cheongsam. This year no more!
I need more comfortable and comfy clothes! :)

The usual routine:
Morning prays at home. Temple. Visiting. Go back nap. Dinner. haha
Love Chor Yat because it is vegetarian day!
I love vegetarian food. The fuchuks wow! *stomach grumble*

This year, I went to Derrick's for gambling!
Every year usually the first day I sleep early. haha.
There is an exception in every year yes? =)

Gambling starts on first day of CNY.
And no I did not gamble. I dont gamble regardless of it's chinese new year lah.
But I love watching people gamble tho.

And supper at the famous Nasi Lemak Bumbung Maybank.
Can you spell FAT? =(

Second day was spent with the parents besides my usual favorite routine; sleeping =D
Didn't head out to anywhere because I AM WORKING THE NEXT DAY! =(

On Thursday, went down to Klang for Kai's open house.
God save me. It is Klang =P haha

And the host didnt even prepare anything and ask the early comers guests *US* to go grocery shopping!

So....

I quit my previous job in January 2012.

Decided to venture into another company.

Job title is less glamorous than the previous job title.

But then same pay, much better environment and it is the industry I always want to venture into.

And i think I made the right decision and choice.

I am much more happy in my current job.

That I don't even dread to go to work everyday.

Scratch that. Maybe i do. Cos i love to sleep =P haha

The last day of my previous job, Jo An baked me a home made cheese cake! :)

Strawberry cheesecake with oreo base and kitkat chocolate =)

It is indeed blissful to have her as a friend and colleague.

The trouble she goes all the way just to make my last day and my employment days in the old company.
Indeed it was a happy journey =)

Who said friends don't appreciate what others did?

And there are still some friends that appreciate what you did and shows gratitude =)

Trying to convince her to join my company!

And we shall conquer the mall =)

A few days before the Chinese New Year eve, Karen complained that she hasnt has her yee sang yet.

And everyone already has it even before CNY.

So being the nice me *cough* I told her I will bring her to have lou sang.

Such nice friends I am ;) Jokes. Dont gag wtf.

Because it is so hard to get everyone to agree on the timing, the two of us just decided to go ahead.

Dinner was in Dragon-i, 1U.

Had our lou sang.

Our version of Lou Sang was..... different.

All we did was mix mix ok let's eat it hahaha.

No yelling or saying anything. Shy you know :p

Taught Karen the "right" way to Lou Sang that night :p

The same way I been teaching my little cousins. haha!

Another year has passed again! :)

Let's reflect back 2011 resolutions! And make new ones!

2011 resolutions:

~~#1: Be more active ..~~ I joined the gym for yoga and personal trainer and dance classes! and also reunite with plenty of friends. Less anti-social :D

#2 Dont give up chasing dream. *still trying to achieve that* :(

~~#3 Live a healthier life~~ And yes i did! no much on junk foods and much more healthy diet! :)

~~#4 Save money~~ My 2011 resolution for this was to get a camera and I did even though not with my own money lah :) Special thanks! :)

~~#5 Lose weight~~ I did!! dam happy! i is 46 kg now! :) 3 more kgs to go! :)

#6 Traveling *really wanna go Japan ,Korea and Taiwan*

~~#7 Cut down on caffeine~~ I did this too! only one cup per day! and on occasion days where im super sleepy!

#8 Learn how to bake more *Making more bake dates with nik and karen.*

#9 Take up course * still deciding on what course to take* :)

Achieved 5 out of 9 resolutions for 2011.
Not too bad! :)
So what's my 2012 resolutions this year! Hmmm.
Been thinking really hard for my 2012 resolutions... and finally some came into my mind.
Time to list it down and lets say i how many I can achieve for 2012 when it is the year 2013.

2012 resolutions:

1. Don't give up chasing dreams. Continue on for this as I missed out on this in 2011. Hopefully I will achieve this before 2012 ends. Always have that coward side of me whenever it comes to this! Missed out two opportunities in the year 2011. Cross fingers to give myself more courage to achieve this! :)

2. Continue to save money. Yup need it to get more properties and investments to double up my incomes! :) $$$ comes to me! :) And of course some other designer stuffs ;) Working in Malaysia sometimes is shitty! Low income, long working hours! But oh well, if you have the determination to do it, you can :)

3. Travelling. I is going Taiwan mid year and BKK end of the year! :) So happy! Finally get to visit Hello Kitty cafe! :) People that been to Taiwan please suggest places to eat/see/shop! Thank you! :)
*oh and please suggest where I can get pink luggage like the pictures below* :D

4. Learn how to bake. Yup! Now I make a once a month date with Nik and Karen for our baking session! :) Nik's mum is an awesome baker! So gonan steal some tips and tricks from her! :) Don't you all know the way to a guy's stomach is through his heart *wink* haha. And I really wana make cupcakes bouquet! :)

5. Take up language course. Planning to head to Beijing for Chinese course :) or maybe just take up a brand new language :) Time to brush up my knowledge :) And not just the basic English and not so good Cantonese and a little rusty Bahasa Melayu :p

6. Continue to be healthy and toned up my body! Sexy body comes to me soon! :) I see so many hot mamas around lately that it puts me to shame! I is still young and my body is not as toned as them! How can! :p So this year is try to exercise more :)

7. Control my temper! I know right. This.As.Resolution? Yup. I always have anger issues. Opsie. Not on friends but on other half and family members. I get pissed off and irritated easily. *shy* So this year I vow to control my temper and anger better! Try to count to 10 before i let off my steams! Not easy as this is my character. But am going to try my hardest!

8. Be more spontaneous. I know this sounds tedious. But I always always plan things even when a simple yum cha! Always overanalysed things and tend to throw tantrum whenever a small minor glitch. So this year I tell myself it's time to be more spontaneous!

9. Do something unordinary. Something that I will look back and tell myself, "WOW. I actually did that" :) Who knows what I will do. Of course something legal ok. I wouldn't want to think back when I am in prison. wadaffak. So let's say what 2012 will bring to me :)

Excited to see what and how many resolutions I can achieve this year! :)

A brand new year!

Time to bid 2011 good bye and welcoming 2012.

Wouldn't say I am too excited nor too pessimist about 2012.

Just normal :) Life goes on! :)

2011 was a year with ups and downs. I would say mostly ups! :)

Managed to make the 'rents proud :)

And of course got closer to some of my girlfriends. :)

Of course, emotional downfalls will always be there! :)

Spent more time with the families and of course earning and surviving on my own two feets.

Gah. Bills :(

Nevertheless, cheers to another brand new year! :)

Best Xmas Ever!

Last year Xmas Eve I think I stayed at home.

As most of my friends are in a relationship.

But this year Xmas I had the best celebrations ever! :)

Starting with breakfast gathering in office on 23rd.

And home cooked Nasi Briyani from colleague!

And headed to BBQ after work!

No pictures because too busy eating. wtf #fatdieme

I love BBQ food! But I only eat fish balls and sausages heheh

And 24th started off with pamper myself day before heading out.

Hair wash + massage + mani pedi.

As title said it all.

A big warm congratulations to Karl and Cheri for their big day, which took place on 22nd October 2011 at Tamingsari Grand Ballroom, The Royale Chulan Hotel, KL.

I love attending weddings!

Because more reason to dress up! :)

Went to search high and low for a perfect night gown because everyone is wearing a gown..

But I couldn't find a nice gown within the price range I budgeted :(

Boo! sucks to have a budget for a dress :(

In the end I gave up! and bought a cocktail dress online.

The awesome-ness of e-shopping :) *loves*

Got it from a US store and shipped in to my house! :)

On that day itself, I started getting ready at 12 noon!

When I told Yinz this, she gave me the WTF look :(

Couldn't imagine when the big day for myself how early I need to start preparing. Heh :p

Started off with blow and wash and treatment for my hair at my usual favorite Salon.

Then rushed down to Pyramid for my nails and manicure session at JJ-Nails.

Awesome service and it's cheap too!

And lastly makeup done at MAC!
Was deciding between MAC or Bobbi Brown.
And ended up choosing MAC just because I wanted a night look that enhances eye :)

Headed to KL for brunch and a little shopping.

The coffee club in Singapore is awesome but the one in KL is ...... Speechless.

Firstly, service was horrible because the waiter and waitress don't understand English!

You converse them in basic English like, "Can I get a set of fork and knife please"

Waitress answered you in, "Apa?"

I don't mean to sound insulting but really.

In KL city you hire someone that don't really understand English?

No wonder our country is a laughing stock!

Anyway, anger aside.

I love eating breads.

but my colleague, Joanne said bread regardless wholemeal/oats/multigrain is fattening because of yeast!

so I am trying to cut off bread from my diet plan :(

But of course I do take it once in awhile :)

Levain officially became my top place for my bread cravings!

I used to don't really believe in it.

But recently I do.

Maybe too much obstacles and unhappy events been happening lately and fate determines your destiny.

So, I attended a feng shui seminar by the infamous Joey Yap last two Sundays.

And oh boy, I did gained a lot of insight.
Thank you lil Nikki for recommending me to head to Joey Yap's seminar.
Despite having 2 hours of sleep the night before, because of Artistry event.
I did not once felt like I was falling asleep!
I was so alert the whole seminar from 830am until 530pm!
*Back in uni days, even though I had 12 hours of sleep, I still feel tired* :O
*shifty eyes*

By attending this seminar, now I can know roughly know what kind of attitude a person posses. :D

And I know who to avoid :p

I am always been a girl that never really go for pedicure and manicure.

Because I think it's a waste of money! ><

*cheapskate* LoL

But lately I'm addicted to pedicure.

Lovee Lovee my pedicure session. :)

Usually weekly or twice a month.

Been going for some beauty salons for a shop that I wants to keep going back for more and..

I found it! :)

Nice ambiance. Ample parking spaces. Plenty of cafes nearby ;)

I didn't get a manicure because a pretty manicure requires long nails and I can't keep long nails.

I tried acrylic nail before and it couldn't even last for a week -__-

So, I guess it's a no-no for me :(

Dinner was at Umaiya, Uptown.

One of the best Japanese cuisine restaurant, as I heard it from Yinz.

But then again, as I mentioned earlier on.

Most Japanese food taste the same, if not similar.

It's the people there that matters yes? :)

Dinner was at Hanazen Japanese Restaurant, Jaya One

The food there is pretty awesome. But then again most Japanese food all taste the same.

Maybe it's cos all from the same company or somesort.

i.e: Sushi Tei, Sushi Zanmai, Rakuzen etc etc..

Time to update yet again.

If you ask me which month is my favourite, I will definitely say February.

Not because of Valentine's day >< but cos it's my birthday month! :)

And also partly, my bestie's birthday also fall on February.

Last year, I didn't enjoyed my birthday.

For a lot of reasons ><" that I do not want to go into details being that it will anger me! ><"

Anyway, kicked off my birthday celebration with my ex-course-mate/friend's friend/

It supposed to be just a normal gathering for a simple dinner but little did I know it was my birthday celebration. :)))

I prefer Chillie though. Maybe because of the bottomless nacho chips :p hahah.

I'm getting lazier and lazier!

That all I feel like doing is eat and sleep.

I don't even gym anymore. I don't even know why in the first place I joined gym.

Must be the spur of the moment to lose a lot of weight!

My current obsession now will be yoga!

Planning to join My Yoga Sanctuary for yoga classes.

Apparently, yoga is much more better than gym.

because I don't want beefy arms and calves!

Let's see whether I can find yoga friends to join with me! :)

Updates for Chinese New Year, which is a month ago.

Princess Ame's big day! :)

I planned a surprise birthday dinner for her but I think she sort of guess it .___."

But fortunately, she pretend to be surprise! :)

Went to Mid Valley for her birthday dinner!

I sort of loathe Mid Valley because of the traffic :/

Hence, you hardly see me in Mid Valley unless there is "Warehouse sale/IT Fair"

Dinner was at Alexis, Gardens.

After a week of those Chinese New Year feast, it's time to be a LITTLE healthier ;)

Here's 7 Easy Steps to be healthy!

With these easy 7 steps and incorporating it into your daily lifestyle, being healthy *to the waistline* never been easier :)

1. Chew gum.

Chew gum for 15 minutes each hour between lunch break and you can reduce consumed calories from sweets! :)

2. Drink vegetable juice!

Chug a glass of low-sodium vegetable juice every day. Drink at least a cup of low-sodium V8 daily to lost four pounds over 12 weeks!

Maybe it's time to stock up on those vegetable juice *regardless of how it taste* :(

3. Drop those sugary/fizzy drinks!

Calories from solid foods and liquids both add up! I always thought that by drinking liquid i can lost weight but it isn't so :( No wonder I can't lost weight after all this years! Reducing intake by just one serving a day took a pound off after six months, enough to add up for people with a soda or fruit-drink habit.

*time to tell myself to ditch those coffee and milo* :(

4. Make green tea your bff!

Overweight or obese exercisers burned off three more pounds and 7 percent more belly fat when they drank green tea instead of another beverage with the same calories. But make sure your green tea is HOT/WARM ok! :)

5. More ZZ/Sleep!!

Those who slept an extra two hours ate nearly 300 calories less! This is the BEST tips ever for me! :DD

6. Mushrooms! :)

Sub mushrooms for ground meat in one meal every week, you can lose five pounds in a year! :)

Now it's time to order Vegetable pasta! Yums! :D

7. Simple till Six

Diet plan of eating in a mostly vegan fashion during the day–no animal products and no simple carbs–and then eating a reasonable dinner. His focus on consuming plants “as close to their natural state as possible” will lead to a natural reduction in calories.

Been spending a lot of time with the parents.

With so many devastating news lately, I don't even wan't to go into all the touch wood thoughts going into my mind now.

I seriously don't want to imagine what will happen if one of my parents ....... :( :(

So weekend usually I will spend with the parents and weekdays, I will have dinner with my parents :)

Ame and I were talking about this the other day, and we realized as we grew older, we usually spend more time with family.

Last weekend headed to Pyramid with the parents and finally I been to the Lash Bar as promoted/stated by everyone.

Stating how good and how nice it is :)
