August my favourite month

Yes! I lurrrve August. 

Seriously I think August just became my second favourite month.

Of course February is my first choice la! :)

August has the most public holiday ever! /muchloves 

Week after week of holidays sometimes is doing me no good.

I became slightly lazy and eat more! 

Not forgetting my company always eat nice food leh. :(

How to eat healthy? :( 

But nevertheless, those public holidays are always well-spent.

Even though I did not head out of the country but it is with whom that I spent with that matters.

So embrace yourself with all the food pictures.. yet again ;)

Trying to be healthy for once for dinner.

Apparently according to blogger Cheesie, if you eat japanese cuisine for most of your meals, you will lose weight!

But fml only eat once then goes back to all the fried and fattening food (-.-)

Do try this. Not too bad if you prefer fuss free and no hassle ramen :)

And their specialty is you can add up to 10 different condiments into your soup =)

After a long day of searching for our night dresses, we finally settled for this =)

I can never go wrong with any type of food when Im eating with her.

Because we both love the same kind of cuisine.

Oh yes. That's the sinful chocolate fondue as you can see. 

So far, this is the best and worth money steamboat in PJ areas :)

They even have cheese fondue. But the thing about cheese fondue is you got to be slightly picky because if they give you some low quality cheese you will feel like puking after one dip.

However, you can never go wrong with chocolate fondue.

So my advice, do not over order the steamboat set. Order perhaps 2 for 4 people (if you are going with a lot of girls la. If mostly guys then just order 1:1 lor) and get the chocolate fondue after dinner.

Trying to eat clean by having sweet corn, sweet potatoes and tuna for brunch. 

But of course fail as you can see. 

I ended up munching some pastries from FreeMori.

And having twice tea break.

One in Starbucks. And another in Dr.Cafe.

Oh btw do not go for latte or mocha all those in Dr.Cafe.

Because quite sucky! :( 

But the foursquare tips showed that those frappes are thumbs up.

Hmm, maybe I should give Dr.Cafe another chance :)

Happiness and sadness

Going to blog this day and date down because I want to read back in years time and remember every single thing that happen on certain days and dates. 

Last Thursday, 9th August, I truly experience both tears of joy and sadness.

Tears of joy is because after close to 8 months, I took a step out of my comfort zone and do something challenging. Indeed it will be something that will take up most of my time.

No more flexi hours or going in and out anytime I want but...

I don't want to live through life with regret; not knowing the outcome of the IFs.

Tears of sadness is.... 

No longer having them nearby me. 

Aah comfort zone meh. 

I am sure everyone faces this issue. The issue of stepping out of comfort zone.

But nevertheless, I always believe that life is full of arrivals and departures.

People actually call us the Siamese twins.

Why! Because we both go everywhere together.

When I said that it means really everywhere together.

Toilet, smoke, eat, buy food.

Everything la :)

See. We even have the same smile. wtf haha.

We even try on crazy fad diets together /teary eyes

and my angels ;) 

The noisiest bunch in the office. haha

Yet Another Food Post

Title state it all. 

I should be food blogger wtf but if I am a food blogger most probably:

1. The picture wont turn out that nice.. aiyah i don't know the angle of capturing the food. I know my good side angle in picture can already la :P

2. When the food arrives, USUALLY i ate one bite only I remember I have yet to capture the picture. Then faster arrange it back nicely and capture but also can show lor that I ate it already (-.-)

Sooooooo.. How la? But I like to eat and when I makan already I don't like to take picture of myself or let people take picture of me.

Cos bloated already ma! Still want to take picture?!?!?!

Or when I go hunt for food to eat I usually dress dam casual and no makeup at all.

That means no concealer or powder. Only sunblock for the fear of aging and sagging skin. lol

So ended up with lots of not too bad picture of food *thumbs up for myself* lol

Tried the Eggs Benedict from Plan B.
Not too bad. I tasted better when I was in Melbourne.
But of course having said that, that's in Melbourne.

Apple crumble craving satisfied :)

Been having cravings for this for the whole weekend during weekdays.
But cannot eat during weekdays cos indulgences are only for weekend ma :(
I have yet to taste Delicious apple crumble so no comparison can be make :)
As you can see, I ate one bite and I go, "shit havent take pic" /phail haha


And two days in a row I had this.
Been reading reviews and tweets about this and gosh finally I tried it after gazillion times of waiting.
Lazy to wait and wait la. Plans never go tru when you want to gather millions of people to eat.

But wilson said it was damm spicy. Epic phail la him (-.-)

So after that dam indulgences weekend, I vow to eat japanese food until I am skinny again (-.-)
Apparently Japanese cuisine can lose weight ma. Right?

Tried the famous Hokkaido Ramen Santouka.
Luckily we went in quite early because by the time it is 730, the place is jam packed and you have to line up
Ordered Miso Ramen set.
The spicy char siew is orgasmic! :)
The set include:
One bowl of ramen.
One bowl of rice with your own choices of topping. I chosen spicy char siew.
One bowl of salad.
One chawanmushi.
One cup of tea.

I ordered another cup of chawanmushi.
I love chawanmushi and I can just eat 3 cups of it for a meal.
Oh ya thats pork dumpling at the left corner. haha.
Too hungry to even bother to capture it. haha
I only ordered chawanmushi and pork dumpling. haha.
Because I forced wilson to order large set and ended up he indigestion hahahahahahahahah.

I think most people is aware that this year is a good year for marriages and proposals.

So many wedding invitations and proposals happened since the beginning of 2012! 

So happy for those that are getting married or engaged =)

But it definitely burn a hole in my wallet =(

Hello July!

Hello July.

So far July has been a confusing month for me.

When you have too many choices, you are lost at which directions you should go.

But when you don't have choices, you will go,

Aaah fuck this la. Why so suey one my life.

Love and hate relationship with Sze Chuan food.

It has the spicy taste I lurrrve but the after taste of your tongue feeling numb that I hate.

How you tell me! 

So hard to please me meh!!! =P

But like one of the quotes on Twitter stated,

First week of July had come and gone. Half  of 2012 had gone!

What have you achieve so far? 

As for me, hmmmm.. Ups and downs throughout the first quarter of 2012 but..

I am still being positive :) 

*well, The Secret taught me to be positive at any time of the day*

Last week of June was spent meeting up with my little muimui and the ex boyfriend and his gf.

Tried the awesome steamboat + BBQ + dishes at one of Ivan's friend shop.

The only steamboat place that opens until 4am! :)

But we are so excited for our Ame.

Oh dayem indulgences

My Recent Buys..

The best part about being financially independent is..

I can get anything I want anytime

If I have enough money la. Not everything. I want a house lor but cannot afford ma.

But what I am trying to say is you know when your parents are paying off your bills, they will tend to question you on your purchase.

So my recent splurges are... :

I've switched! No longer an Apple user but an Android user.

So far so good.

And the best part is... It's a pink phone :D 

Such a girlie phone :D

Oh and I start to pick up on my reading habits again.

I stop reading for a while since I came back from Melbourne.

Being the books here are so expensive!!

The title doesn't seems to be suitable for what I am going to write but....

Being someone that loves to eat and always trying new restaurants and cuisine has it's perks!

I used to don't take picture of foods because.

1. Uhm.. I don't see a point in taking picture of food because I will forget about the name of the dish soon after that.

2. I don't have any canggih camera and phone to take la :(

3. I rather take picture of myself with the food /bimbo haha.

But all these solves when..

I gotten a new camera for Xmas pressie last year! :)

And an upgraded iPhone :)

And also, I'm so fat that I don't have interest in taking picture of myself anymore :(((
